Teaching means helping you to learn. And I will help you learn to play guitar. There are some very basic tips I can help you with. We'll get you started on your musical journey. I have been playing for thirty years, and I will help you. (Individual or small groups.)

I'll help you with...

• Lesson 1: Anatomy of the guitar, basic playing positions, some quick chord patterns to get you started and tuning the guitar.
• Lesson 2: The basic open chords. G, C and F. Strumming basics.
• Lesson 3: The basic open chords Continued. A, D and E. Basic progressions.
• Lesson 4: The open chords (7THs) G, A, D, E.
• Lesson 5: The minor chords: Am, Dm, Em.

We learn by putting our knowledge to work. We'll learn by playing songs you would like to play! So, with the first lesson bring in a couple of your favorites, we'll figure them out.
